# Preventative Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description Provide direction for and supervise all activities of assigned trades personnel to complete preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems/equipment and other projects as assigned. Ensure the execution of work order assignments in coordination with fellow Facilities supervisors and with designated University contacts in order that all projects are completed in a timely, safe and cost effective manner. Interact routinely with building occupants on scheduled and nonscheduled activities to ensure open and effective communications. Complete the required administrative functions regarding work order flow including data entry into Facilities work order system. Coordinate procurement and delivery of material to job sites in order that avoidable work delays are prevented. The incumbent also performs other duties as requested; takes initiative to support a healthy work environment; strives to fulfill the terms in the Standards of Conduct; exemplifies the Virginia Tech Principles of Community; and supports the university’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
