We play a crucial role in supporting the UK's climate goals by diverting waste from landfills and transforming it into valuable energy resources.\nWe have an opportunity in Beddington for an Operations Support Technician to join our team working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.\nThe salary for this role will be £47,920.13 per year,and participation in an annual bonus scheme,in addition to our great range of benefits.\nWe encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early if we receive a high number of applications.\nAs Operations Support Technician, you will provide support to the operations team at the ERF site in Beddington. You will plan, implement and monitor systems and processes through good practice to maximise the process and ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.\nYou will be a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) complying with the ERF Safe Systems of Work. The role includes the supervision of contractors when carrying out activities on site and you will provide cover for shift operatives during any absences and for day operation team members for leave and attend training courses when required to ensure plant availability is maximised.\nIn this role, you will build and maintain relationships with colleagues to ensure effective communication across the site. You will be required to be totally flexible and carry out other duties identified from time to time ensuring site objectives are achieved.\nThe ideal candidate:\nComputer literate\nHave excellent communication skills are required at all levels; both verbally and written. \nAbility to carry out team briefings, participate in detailed shift handovers and write concise reports \nMaintenance Management Systems knowledge \nGood understand of environmental health & safety within a process or power industry \nProcess or Power Plant experience \nExperience in safe systems of work, issuing Permits To Work / safety documentation and systems \nExperience in the operation of mobile plant \nEngineering qualifications, preferably ONC / HNC (or equivalent) \nSafety qualification, preferably IOSH or NEBOSH \nSenior Authorised Person (SAP) \nHow to apply\nClick apply at the bottom of the page and you will be asked to create a profile.
