Engineers are expected to write unit and integration tests alongside feature development rather than treating testing as a separate or optional activity.\nYou will work closely with engineering and product stakeholders in a distributed environment, integrate frontend experiences with production REST APIs, and build interfaces using established design systems and shared components.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFrontend Engineering:\nBuild, maintain, and improve production frontend features using React and TypeScript.\n\nDevelop complex forms, configuration workflows, dashboards, and other interactive application experiences.\n\nApply strong React fundamentals, including hooks, state management, component architecture, and reusable patterns.\n\nTranslate product and UI/UX requirements into reliable, maintainable production interfaces.\n\nWork within an established design system and shared component ecosystem rather than relying primarily on custom styling.\n\nContribute to shared frontend components, libraries, tooling, and engineering patterns.\n\nTesting and Software Quality:\nWrite unit and integration tests alongside all feature development.\n\nBuild testable frontend components and application logic.\n\nMaintain and improve existing test suites as functionality evolves.\n\nDiagnose and resolve regressions, edge cases, and production issues.\n\nParticipate in peer code reviews and incorporate engineering feedback.\n\nMaintain high standards for code quality, reliability, readability, and maintainability.\n\nAPIs and Application Integration:\nIntegrate frontend applications with REST APIs in production environments.\n\nBuild user interfaces around complex API-backed workflows and configuration models.\n\nHandle application state, validation, errors, loading states, and API responses reliably.\n\nCollaborate with backend engineers when defining or troubleshooting frontend-to-service integrations.\n\nDiagnose issues across the boundary between frontend applications and backend services.\n\nEngineering Delivery:\nOwn features from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production verification.\n\nWork effectively within large shared codebases with established engineering standards.\n\nUse Git and pull-request workflows as part of day-to-day development.\n\nWork within automated linting, testing, build, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nContribute to technical discussions and identify appropriate implementation approaches and trade-offs.\n\nUse GenAI-assisted development tools effectively while maintaining engineering quality and ownership of the resulting code.\n\nCollaboration:\nWork effectively with engineers, product stakeholders, and designers in a distributed environment.\n\nCommunicate implementation decisions, blockers, risks, and progress clearly.\n\nParticipate constructively in code reviews and technical discussions.\n\nWork independently while coordinating effectively with the broader engineering team.\n\nDocument technical decisions and implementation details when appropriate.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation and Experience:\n5+ years of professional frontend software development experience.\n\nSignificant hands-on experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.\n\nDemonstrated experience writing unit and integration tests as part of regular feature development.\n\nProduction experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.\n\nExperience contributing to large, shared production codebases.\n\nExperience working with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.\n\nExperience using GenAI-assisted coding tools as part of the software development process.\n\nDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong production experience with React and TypeScript.\n\nStrong understanding of React hooks, component architecture, state management, and complex forms.\n\nStrong frontend testing experience, including unit and integration testing.\n\nExperience consuming and integrating REST APIs in production applications.\n\nStrong JavaScript and modern web development fundamentals.\n\nExperience working with established frontend architecture and shared component libraries.\n\nStrong Git and pull-request workflow experience.\n\nExperience with automated linting, testing, build processes, and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAbility to debug frontend application issues and identify problems across UI, state, API, and application layers.\n\nPractical experience using GenAI-assisted development tools while independently validating and owning generated code.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience working with monorepos.\n\nExperience building applications using established design systems or component libraries.\n\nExperience with Node.js, Python, or broader full-stack development.\n\nExperience developing GenAI-powered products or user experiences.\n\nExperience with complex cloud portals, developer tools, administrative consoles, dashboards, or configuration-heavy applications.\n\nExperience improving shared frontend tooling, architecture, or developer experience.\n\nExperience working in large engineering organizations or mature software platforms.\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong written and verbal communication.\n\nHigh degree of ownership and ability to work independently.\n\nComfortable collaborating asynchronously across a distributed team.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nAble to receive and provide constructive code-review feedback.\n\nComfortable working within an established engineering environment and adapting to existing standards and patterns.\n\nAble to take a feature from an initial requirement through production delivery and verification.\n\nPlease Note:\nThis is a hands-on frontend engineering role. We are looking for candidates with substantial production React and TypeScript experience, not primarily UI/UX design or website-focused backgrounds.\n\nWriting tests is an expected part of feature development.
