The ideal candidate understands production accounting processes and can translate business requirements and accounting logic into system configuration, data validation, testing, and conversion activities.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who can move quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively across accounting, operations, data engineering, and IT teams.\nWhat You’ll Do \nLead functional activities related to the ProCount system conversion and implementation.\n\nTranslate production accounting business requirements and processes into system configuration and functional solutions.\n\nSupport production accounting processes including allocation, DOI, production-to-revenue, and related reconciliation activities.\n\nValidate production and accounting data during the conversion process.\n\nWork closely with data engineers on datasets, SQL queries, flat files, and data validation.\n\nDevelop and execute UAT, parallel testing, and reconciliation/validation activities.\n\nInvestigate data discrepancies and help determine root causes and appropriate resolutions.\n\nSupport the integration and validation of data flows across SCADA, production, and revenue systems.\n\nCollaborate with accounting, operations, IT, and technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.\n\nWork in a fast-moving, acquisition-driven environment where requirements and priorities may evolve.\n\nProvide functional leadership throughout the conversion and help establish reliable processes for ongoing production accounting operations.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For \nMust-Have Experience\n8-15+ years of experience in upstream oil & gas.\n\nStrong hands-on knowledge of production accounting, including allocation, DOI, and production-to-revenue processes.\n\nHands-on experience with ProCount.\n\nPrevious experience with system implementations, migrations, or conversions -
