Missions
- As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining features across our billing and payments platform, refining product requirements, and contributing to the design, implementation, and testing of technical solutions.
- You will be involved in shipping features end-to-end, from technical design through to something real customers use, and keeping an eye on the production systems your team owns.
- You will also be expected to participate in code reviews, share progress, ask questions, and provide feedback, as well as contribute to improvements in the Development Lifecycle.
Profil recherché
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience in software development; Experience building, testing, and maintaining software systems while adhering to engineering principles such as testability, maintainability, observability, and reliability- Knowledge of the agile philosophy and how to implement it, like Scrum and DevOps lifecycles (plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate, monitor)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, our company language
- Experience with version control and various git workflows
- A track record of contributing to improvements in the Development Lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Product Management to create actionable product specifications
- Solid, hands-on production experience with PHP - this is a hard requirement for this role, experience with Python is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
- A love for delivering high-quality, well-tested software
- Relevant experience with an RDBMS and Entity Relationship Diagrams
- A team player who actively participates in daily rituals and contributes to the team's success, sharing knowledge with others and learning from the team in turn
