You will work closely with the lead Account Executive or Account Manager to develop appropriate win themes and content. You are responsible for managing, editing, and creating content related to proposal creation and delivery. You will work cross functionally with other departments and subject matter experts based on the proposal requirements. Day-to-day, you can expect to:\nManage the proposal process start to finish for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.\nManage and on timely delivery of short projects (4-8 weeks) with firm external deadlines.\nEnsure proposals are completed, accurate, well written, and submitted on time.\nWork cross functionally ensuring the appropriate teams are reviewing and completing the appropriate proposal documents.\nEdit content to form a cohesive story.\nWrite content as needed to complete proposals.\nEducation & Experience\nCandidate will ideally have:\nBachelor’s degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, engineering, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience writing, editing, and managing content (writing samples may be requested as part of the interview process).\nTwo to four years in a role supporting the sale or sourcing of software as a service (SaaS)\nExcellent written communication skills.\nExcellent project and time management skills.\nAbility to work cross functionally and ensure all subject matter experts hit deadlines.\nAbility to work under pressure with tight deadlines.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or related software.\nNice to Have:\nExperience and / or interest in the energy / utility industry is a plus\nFamiliarity with Hubspot (or related software)\nWhat to expect\nFull remote position, with remote-work stipend. \nCompetitive salary + Equity\nA collaborative workplace, which will challenge you and celebrate your work\nFull benefits medical, dental, vision, 401k\nGenerous vacation time, sick leave, and holidays\nDiverse and inclusive community for everyone\nInterested?\nVirtual Peaker is currently a small remote-first team tackling huge problems, and that means that everyone, from the interns on up, are critically important to our mission.
