Our team is actively refining agentic workflows, composable AI agents, and generative interfaces to replace static dashboards with dynamic, conversational intelligence.\nThe Role\nYou will work closely with cross-functional peers to own a specific product area, leading discovery and defining success metrics while ensuring day-to-day operational efficiency from the product development team. You will work with the engineering and AI teams to understand architectural tradeoffs, scope upcoming efforts, and pressure-test trade-offs in real time. The product serves two audiences: DoD operators and delivery teams (data scientists, engineers, partner integrators) who configure and maintain deployments of Virtualitics’ product offering.\nResponsibilities\nOwn a specific product area: requirements, backlog management, prioritization, scope decisions, releases, and outcomes.\n\nPartner on technical decisions with engineering: architecture, feasibility, trade-offs. Challenge estimates that don't add up.\n\nBridge users and engineers: translate operational readiness problems into product requirements through direct user research. You’ll be hands on with real users.\n\nContribute to platform evolution: R&D work across data ontology management, agent orchestration (MCP/A2A), generative interfaces.\n\nSupport delivery operations: ensure the product reduces manual effort across contract types and deployment models.\n\nCommunicate clearly: demos, PRDs, cross-functional alignment. You are the connective tissue.\n\nQualifications\nEligibility to acquire and maintain a US Security Clearance (requires US Citizenship)\n\nCS degree (or equivalent technical degree)\n\n2+ years of product management or software engineering experience shipping software in agile environments\n\nComfortable reading code, reviewing architecture, and holding your own in technical discussions\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience with AI/ML products, defense/government tech, or classified environments (SIPR/NIPR)\n\nStartup experience, especially navigating the scalability and automation phase\n\nPlatform product experience: technical interfaces (APIs, SDKs) alongside standard web apps\n\n1-2 years of software engineering experience\n\nCompensation\nCompetitive salary, equity, and performance bonus\n\nMedical, dental, vision.
