you will be doing\nOwn ambiguous, loosely scoped design problems end to end across multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction.\n\nServe as the primary design point of contact on engagements: agents, how responses are structured, how follow-on actions chain, and how errors surface consistently across deployments.\n\nLeverage and extend our design system and component library, strengthening inherits.\n\nLead UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts ensuring a high quality output before shipping.\n\nUse workflows, journey maps, and service mapping to ground your rationale and bring cross-functional partners along.\n\nHelp shape scope, timelines, and cross-functional alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.\n\nMentor less experienced designers and raise the standard of critique.\n\nWhat we are looking for\n5-8 years of product design experience with a track record of shipping well-designed products.\n\nPortfolio of three or more case studies or highlighted projects showing complex problem-solving, mid-project adjustments, and cross-functional collaboration.\n\nFigma proficiency, including component-driven architecture, variables, and interactive prototypes.\n\nTrack record of taking ownership of ambiguous problems without being handed a spec.\n\nSophisticated design and interaction craft, with UX, UI, visual, and accessibility fundamentals accounted for at each interaction.\n\nDesign system extension and growth.\n\nApplication of relevant concepts and best practices to support your rationale, using workflows and mapping to justify design decisions.\n\nComfort operating independently as the design lead on a project with minimal oversight.\n\nWillingness to reflect on past projects and articulate what you would do differently.\n\nWhat are our preferred requirements\nExperience designing AI-native, agentic, or conversational products.\n\nExperience with data-dense enterprise or analytics products where the interface has to make complexity legible.\n\nExperience operating as a shared resource across multiple concurrent teams.\n\nFluency with AI tools such as Claude and Figma Make as part of your everyday design and prototyping practice.\n\nWorking knowledge of front-end concepts such as components, tokens, states, and responsive behavior, sufficient to prototype and set technical direction with engineers.\n\nExperience working in defense, government, or critical infrastructure environments.\n\nEligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.\n\nWhat are some
