Join Virtuous, a high-growth SaaS company dedicated to making a difference in the world. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in building and scaling our CRM+ platform, which powers fundraising and donor engagement for leading nonprofits. You will work primarily in C# and Vue within an Azure and SQL Server environment, collaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers. This is a hands-on role for someone who is AI-forward and thinks like a product engineer.
Missions
- Concevoir, développer et maintenir des fonctionnalités sur la plateforme CRM+ en utilisant C#, .NET et SQL Server.
- Collaborer avec les équipes Produit et Design pour façonner les exigences et apporter une perspective axée sur le client aux compromis techniques.
- Mentorer et programmer en binôme avec d'autres ingénieurs, en contribuant à l'amélioration des pratiques d'ingénierie au sein de l'équipe.

- This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is AI-Forward and thinks like a Product Engineer. You won't just implement stories; you’ll understand the "why" behind the work and actively collaborate with the team to deliver innovation and customer value
- You’ll be expected to actively influence product direction and operate with high agency and ownership within your squad
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in C#/.NET
- A track record of owning projects end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring
- Experience working with Datadog, Playwright, and other observability and testing tools a plus
- Experience working on CRM or data-intensive platforms is a strong plus
- A customer-first, product-minded approach to engineering. You ask "how could this feature be better?" as often as "how do we build this feature?"
- Strong experience building and operating production systems on Azure
- 3+ years of experience with Vue; React or Angular experience transfers well
- Solid experience with SQL Server - schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Customer Success
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development. Hands-on experience using Claude Code as part of your engineering workflow
- Passion for contributing to customer discovery conversations, root cause analyses (RCAs), and occasional customer demos
- Proven experience in high-growth SaaS software
- History of using AI tools to meaningfully speed up delivery without sacrificing quality
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frequent (multiple times per week) deployment cadence
- A bias toward simplicity and pragmatism over unnecessary complexity
- Comfort giving and receiving direct, kind feedback
