The\n\nrole sits where software engineering, applied AI and operations meet. You will build agentic\n\nworkflows with LangGraph, trace and evaluate them with Langfuse, and keep them\n\nobservable and reliable in production with Prometheus and Grafana. The candidate will\n\ndrive database operations modernization through automation, AI-assisted monitoring,\n\npredictive analytics, and self-healing capabilities.\n\nThe LLM landscape changes quickly, so we need someone who keeps pace with new models\n\nand techniques and knows how to apply the right ones to real business problems, with a\n\nclear eye on quality, cost, security and maintainability.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\n Design, build and deploy LLM-powered applications, including conversational\n\nassistants, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions and multi-step AI agents.\n\n Build stateful, multi-agent workflows with LangGraph, covering tool calling, branching\n\nlogic, human-in-the-loop steps, memory and error recovery.\n\n Instrument AI applications with Langfuse for end-to-end tracing, prompt management\n\nand versioning, cost and latency tracking, and evaluation of model outputs.\n\n Set up monitoring, dashboards and alerting for AI services with Prometheus and\n\nGrafana, covering latency, throughput, token usage, error rates and quality metrics.\n\n Evaluate and select commercial and open-source LLMs for each use case, balancing\n\nanswer quality, cost, latency and data-privacy requirements.\n\n Apply prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search and fine-tuning to improve\n\naccuracy and reduce hallucinations.\n\n Build evaluation pipelines and guardrails, including curated test sets, LLM-as-judge\n\nscoring, and safety and content filters.\n\nBechtel Level 3 – General.
