The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to evaluate system scalability, reliability, throughput, and response times.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Design, develop, and execute performance testing and benchmarking strategies for applications, databases, and infrastructure.\n\n- Conduct performance evaluations to assess system throughput, response time, scalability, stability, and resource utilization.\n\n- Develop repeatable benchmarking methodologies to measure system performance under different workloads and configurations.\n\n- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization opportunities based on test results.\n\n- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests.\n\n- Collaborate with development, database, infrastructure, and architecture teams to resolve performance-related issues.\n\nTech Stack & Tools:\n\n- pgbench: Database benchmarking and PostgreSQL workload performance testing.\n\n- HammerDB: Database benchmarking, transaction processing, and workload simulation.\n\n- Apache JMeter: Load testing, performance testing, and workload simulation.\n\n- Custom Workload Replay: Reproducing production-like workloads to evaluate system performance.\n\nPerformance Baseline & Regression Benchmarking:\n\n- Establish performance baselines for critical application and database workloads.\n\n- Design and implement performance regression testing frameworks to identify performance degradation across releases.\n\n- Conduct before-and-after performance comparisons to evaluate the impact of code changes, infrastructure upgrades, database tuning, and configuration changes.\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Hands-on experience with performance metrics, statistical analysis, latency percentiles, and performance regression benchmarking.\n\n- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and travelling to Hyderabad every alternate week.\n\n- Ability to translate complex performance metrics into actionable technical recommendations.\n\n- Prepare detailed performance benchmarking reports, dashboards, and test result summaries.\n\nSkills\nPerformance
