Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nRole Summary:\nClient Consulting Analysts play a critical role in supporting Visa’s clients by applying analytical solutions to business challenges in the payments and financial services industry. The role involves leveraging data science, analytics, and business consulting expertise to deliver actionable insights and drive portfolio growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Analysts are expected to manage projects, collaborate across teams, and translate complex data into strategic recommendations for clients.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nApply analytical and data science solutions to address business problems for clients in payments, financial institutions, and related sectors.\nManage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, organizing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.\nTranslate analytics outputs into actionable recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.\nSupport business development initiatives and contribute to portfolio optimization, product launches, and customer loyalty strategies.\nCollaborate effectively in interdisciplinary and multicultural environments, adapting communication for various audience levels.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).\nExperience in applying solutions to business problems in analytics, business consulting, product ownership, or data science.\nBackground in payments, financial institutions, consumer lending, risk management, portfolio management, corporate payments, retail and merchant business, or digital projects.\nExperience in project management, including managing team and client expectations and deliverables.\nAgile experience is mandatory.\nExperience working with extremely large data sets.\nExperience planning, organizing, and managing end-to-end projects with diverse cross-functional teams.\nProven skills in translating analytics output to actionable recommendations.\nHands-on experience with modern distributed systems, including Hadoop, Hive/SQL, and Apache Spark.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).\nPrior consulting or product management experience.\nExperience with a top-tier bank or financial services practice of a top-tier consulting firm, with a combination of regional and global experience.\nAdvanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.\nProficiency in creating reproducible analytic pipelines using tools such as Python and R.\nProficiency with version control systems like git or GitHub.\nData visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or R/Python.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
