Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nJob Summary\nThe Assoc. Cybersecurity Engineer supports the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions within the organization. This role is responsible for assisting in the monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of security incidents and network issues. The engineer works collaboratively with team members to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data, contributing to the overall security posture of the company.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in monitoring and analyzing network and security events.\nSupport troubleshooting and resolution of security incidents.\nContribute to the maintenance and configuration of security tools and systems.\nParticipate in the documentation and reporting of security activities.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.\nExperience in supporting network and security operations.\nExperience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.\nExperience in documenting and reporting security activities.\nExperience in collaborating within a technical team environment.\nExperience in maintaining confidentiality and integrity of systems and data.\nPreferred Qualifications\n2 or more years of work experience.\nExperience in working with Cisco, Nexus, Arista switches, Bluecoat proxy, F5 LTM & GTM, Juniper, Silver Peak.\nExperience with fault monitoring toolsets such as SolarWinds, Netcool.\nExperience with incident and change management tools such as ServiceNow.\nBroad knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN, LAN, SDWAN and Cloud technologies.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
