Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nAssociate Technical Program Manager - Operations & Infrastructure (O&I)\nThe Associate Technical Program Manager (TPM) supports the planning and delivery of technology initiatives within Visa’s Operations & Infrastructure (O&I) organization. This role works closely with experienced Program Managers, Engineers, and Platform Teams to help deliver reliable, secure, and highly available internal infrastructure and platforms.\nThis position is well-suited for a recent college graduate who is interested in how large-scale technology systems are planned, built, and maintained. You will gain hands-on experience working on infrastructure refreshes, platform upgrades, and internal application support while learning industry-standard program management practices.\nWhat You Will Do\nSupport project and program managers in planning, tracking, and delivering infrastructure and technology initiatives\nHelp coordinate activities across engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams\nTrack project schedules, action items, risks, and dependencies\nAssist with organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting notes and decisions\nLearn how to manage basic project scope, timelines, and deliverables under guidance\nHelp gather data, update reports, and create simple summaries or presentations for stakeholders\nParticipate in technology refresh initiatives such as hardware upgrades, operating system updates, and internal platform enhancements\nLearn how internal infrastructure supports business-critical applications and services\nEssential Skills and Attributes\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nWillingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and accept feedback\nInterest in technology, infrastructure, and how large systems operate\nAbility to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teammates\nComfort using common productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration platforms\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have, Not Required)\n2 or more years of work experience\n\nBachelor’s degree (or graduating soon) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field\n\nBasic understanding of technology concepts (e.g., servers, networks, applications, databases)\n\nFamiliarity with project or team-based work through coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities\n\nInternship, co-op, or academic project experience in technology or project coordination\n\nExposure to Agile or Scrum concepts through coursework or student projects\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as Jira, MS Project, SharePoint, or Teams\n\nStrong Excel or data organization skills\n\nInterest in Technical Program Management or Technology Operations as a career path\n\nWhat You’ll Gain\nHands-on experience working on real enterprise-scale technology initiatives\n\nMentorship from experienced Technical Program Managers and technology leaders\n\nExposure to infrastructure, cybersecurity, platform engineering, and operations\n\nA strong foundation for career growth into Technical Program Management, Engineering, or Operations roles\n\nInformation for US Applicants\nFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $84,500.00 to $ 131,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
