Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nJob Summary\nThe Business Consultant, Business Strategy & Operations, serves as a seasoned individual contributor responsible for solving complex operational problems with designated clients. This role takes a broad perspective to identify operational performance improvement opportunities and supports the adoption of innovative solutions. The consultant acts as a functional specialist, focusing on building and extending client relationships, and works independently with limited supervision except in the most complex situations. The position requires proactive identification of processing efficiencies, support for service changes, and system enhancements, while maintaining strong knowledge of Visa products and services.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn the CMS business reviews, including deliverables, stakeholder coordination, and timeline execution.\nDevelop executive-ready presentations that highlight business performance, strategic priorities, risks, opportunities, and key decisions.\nSynthesis inputs across Visa Direct, VCS, and VGS, by working with Sales, Finance and Operations teams.\nEnhance reporting frameworks to focus leadership discussions on forward-looking insights, performance gaps, strategic trade-offs, and actionable decisions rather than status reporting.\nMaintain action-item governance and follow-through from business reviews.\nPartner with Finance and business leaders to monitor revenue and expense performance against AOP and forecast.\nDevelop and maintain long-terim revenue forecasts and performance models.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD\n Preferred Qualifications:\n6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD\n5 or more years of of experience in business management, finance, strategy, sales operations, management consulting, or related analytical roles.\nStrong financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance management experience.\nExperience developing executive-level presentations and leadership communications.\nAdvanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.\nAbility to synthesize large datasets into executive insights and recommendations.\nProven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations without direct authority.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience supporting executive leadership teams.\nExperience with performance reporting, MBR/QBR processes, and operating reviews.\nFamiliarity with revenue forecasting, P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning.\nExperience using Power BI, Tableau, AI Tools or other analytics platforms.\n\nInformation for US Applicants\nFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $136,000.00 to $ 217,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
