Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nJob Summary \nThis position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about solving challenging business problems and building applications that provide an excellent user experience. The Chief SW Engineer will be an integral part of the Payment Products Development team, focusing on the development of software solutions that leverage data to address business challenges. The role involves hands-on activities including proof of concepts, development, and testing, with adaptability to change tasks according to team requirements.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and test automation frameworks and contribute to core product code.\nDeliver high-quality products and features, overseeing the process from initial idea to final delivery, including design, development, testing, release deployments, and post-deployment support.\nEnsure timely delivery of assigned modules within an agile team setting.\nAccurately scope efforts, identify risks, and communicate trade-offs with team members and stakeholders.\nCoordinate and participate in Continuous Integration activities.\nCommunicate status updates, issues, and potential risks promptly.\nPerform tasks related to data governance and system infrastructure as required.\nThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications12+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 9 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 15+ years of relevant work experience.\nExperience in developing and testing automation frameworks.\nExperience in delivering products and features from concept to deployment.\nExperience in agile software development environments.\nExperience in scoping, risk identification, and stakeholder communication.\nExperience in Continuous Integration activities.\nExperience in data governance and system infrastructure tasks.\nPreferred Qualifications\n15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience.\nExperience in hands-on proof of concepts, development, and testing.\nExperience in adapting to changing team requirements.\nExperience in supporting post-deployment activities.\nExperience in communicating technical status and risks to stakeholders.\n\nInformation for US Applicants\nFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $195,900.00 to $ 314,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
