Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nThe Compliance Analyst will support the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Pismo’s global Compliance Program.\nBased in Brazil and dedicated to Pismo, this hands-on role will support compliance operations, due diligence, financial crime compliance, regulatory matters, risk assessments, governance, monitoring, and reporting across the jurisdictions where Pismo operates.\nThe successful candidate will manage assigned activities with an appropriate level of independence, under the guidance of Compliance leadership, and escalate complex or sensitive matters when required.\nThe analyst will also use approved artificial intelligence tools and agents as part of daily work and contribute to the development of AI-enabled compliance processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.\nEssential Functions\nExecute day-to-day activities supporting Pismo’s global Compliance Program.\nConduct onboarding, ongoing, and event-driven due diligence reviews of clients, partners, vendors, and other relevant third parties.\nPerform sanctions, politically exposed persons, adverse media, and other required compliance screenings.\nSupport risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, remediation activities, and escalation of identified concerns.\nAssist with assessments involving new markets, products, services, partnerships, and business initiatives.\nSupport regulatory registrations, submissions, inquiries, examinations, and audits, as applicable.\nAssist in developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, controls, training materials, and process documentation.\nPrepare compliance metrics, dashboards, trackers, management reports, and supporting evidence.\nMonitor deadlines, action plans, and remediation activities, following up with responsible stakeholders.\nRespond to routine compliance questions and collaborate with global and cross-functional stakeholders.\nUse approved AI tools and agents to support research, document review, analysis, monitoring, drafting, and reporting.\nHelp identify, design, test, document, and implement AI-enabled workflows, ensuring appropriate human review and compliance with applicable governance requirements.\nSupport additional projects and priorities as requiredbased on business and regulatory needs.\nThis is a hybrid position. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nFor this role, you must be based in Brazil\n\nLanguage Skills\nProficiency in English at B2 level or above (Upper-Intermediate) \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, International Relations, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related field; OR 5 years relevant work experience\nExperience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, SaaS, or another regulated technology environment.\nPrevious experience in Compliance, Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, KYC (Know Your Customer), or Client Screening, with a strong focus on identifying and assessing risks related to anti-money laundering (AML), corruption, bribery, financial crime, and reputational risk.\nTechnical Skills\nExperience in Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Financial Crime Compliance, Due Diligence, Risk Management, Internal Controls, Audit, Legal, or a related function.\nWorking knowledge of anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, due diligence, regulatory compliance, or risk-management concepts.\nStrong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to perform detailed operational activities accurately and consistently.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.\nAbility to work with an appropriate level of independence while recognizing when guidance or escalation is required.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation.\nProfessional proficiency in written and spoken English and Portuguese.\nWillingness and ability to use artificial intelligence tools and contribute to AI-enabled process improvements.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with client or third-party due diligence, compliance assessments, monitoring, reporting, audits, or regulatory matters.\nExperience using data analysis, workflow, automation, or artificial intelligence tools.\nCAMS certification a plus.\nExperience with Monday.com and Jira tools is a plus.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
