Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nCompliance Associate -Transaction Screening \nWe are looking for a Compliance individual who is passionate about taking on a new challenge within the payments, financial services and FX industry.\nAs a Compliance Associate you will form a critical part of our day-to-day Transaction Screening controls. You’ll use our systems to ensure that Compliance risks are adequately identified, assessed, monitored, controlled and reported as required.\nThis role is on a 24/7 shift-based rota and will require the candidate to commit to the following: Early shift 06:00 -15:00, Midshift 12:00 - 21:00, Night shift 21:00-6:00 on a rotating basis.\nThe Details:\nDay to day Transaction Screening, identifying any potentially fraudulent or illegal activity. \nAnalyze payment and compliance data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns. \nProactively escalate urgent cases to the MLRO/DMLRO for further review. \nConduct screening on PEPs and sanctioned entities and investigate potential hits. \nWork across teams and departments to proactively identify and resolve operational compliance queries. \nComplete Compliance administration (such as keeping client records up to date) as required. \nAssist with the review of current processes and suggest improvements to the processes as well as systems used. \nKeep up to date with current and future regulatory changes and financial crime typologies that affect the business. \nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nExcellent analytical skills and ability to work in a methodical manner with high attention to detail \nAbility to work in a high speed environment, with a keen eye for detail \nAbility to work independently to manage assigned tasks to ensure daily targets are met \nAn accountable worker who takes ownership of cases from start to finish \nTeam player who enjoys working with others in order to achieve a shared goal efficiently and effectively \nAbility to reprioritize and multitask at short notice to meet tight deadlines \nBe articulate, numerate, organized, hardworking and able to build excellent relationships \nKnowledge & Expertise:\nAnti-Money Laundering (AML) - Transaction Monitoring/Screening\nAn interest in financial crime and having a career in Compliance within the payments, financial services, technology or FX industry \nEconomic / financial sanctions \nPayment Services / E-money Directive \nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
