Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nCyber Security Analyst (AWS/Azure)\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to assess platforms, identify security risks, and help improve the organisation’s security posture across cloud and technology environments. This role has a strong focus on platform security assessments, cloud security posture management (CSPM), and the use of security tools to detect misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and control gaps. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to provide practical recommendations, support remediation, and promote secure-by-design practices.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct security assessments of platforms, applications, and cloud environments to identify risks, misconfigurations, and control weaknesses.\nUse CSPM, vulnerability management, and related security tools to continuously monitor cloud and platform security posture.\nReview configurations across cloud services, infrastructure, identity, networking, containers, and platform components against security baselines and best practices.\nAnalyse findings from security tools and prioritise remediation based on risk, exploitability, and business impact.\nPartner with engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams to define practical remediation plans and track closure of identified issues.\nSupport secure design and architecture reviews for new and existing platforms.\nValidate that security controls are implemented effectively and aligned with organisational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.\nAssist in developing and maintaining security assessment methodologies, procedures, standards, and reporting templates.\nPrepare clear, concise reports and dashboards summarising risks, trends, exceptions, and remediation progress for technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nContribute to continuous improvement of the organisation’s cloud and platform security capabilities, including automation opportunities and tool optimisation.\nStay current with emerging threats, cloud security risks, and evolving security tooling relevant to platform environments.\nThis is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.\nQualifications\nExperience in cybersecurity, cloud security, platform security, or risk assessment roles.\nHands-on experience performing technical security assessments across cloud or platform environments.\nStrong understanding of cloud security concepts, including identity and access management, network security, logging and monitoring, encryption, secrets management, and workload protection.\nExperience using CSPM tools and other security technologies such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, CNAPP, or configuration assessment platforms.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
