Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nRole Summary:\nThe Cyber Security Engineering function is dedicated to safeguarding the organization’s technology infrastructure and data assets through comprehensive security measures across all domains of cybersecurity. Individual contributors in this job family are responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures, controls, and systems. They ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management across diverse technology environments.\nDesign, implement, and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions.\nDevelop, promote, and integrate secure coding and application development practices, including DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.\nArchitect and implement security solutions for cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.\nImplement data protection, privacy engineering, and compliance controls in accordance with corporate, regulatory, and industry standards.\nDevelop, customize, and automate security tools, processes, and operational procedures.\nMonitor network and application security, detect and analyze emerging threats, and proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities.\nOversee and execute incident response planning, investigation, and mitigation activities.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with development and operations teams to embed security throughout business processes.\nEvaluate new technologies and security risks, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to support business objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement and technical innovation to maintain a secure and resilient environment.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSpecialist: 4 or more years of relevant work experience.\nExperience in conducting security assessments and penetration testing.\nExperience in designing and implementing identity and access management solutions.\nExperience in secure coding and application development practices.\nExperience in architecting security solutions for cloud and hybrid environments.\nExperience in implementing data protection and privacy engineering controls.\nExperience in developing and automating security tools and operational procedures.\nExperience in monitoring network and application security.\nExperience in incident response planning and execution.\nExperience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security in business processes.\nExperience in driving technical innovation and continuous improvement in cybersecurity.\nExperience in developing secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.\nExperience in providing technical expertise to support business objectives.\n\nInformation for US Applicants\nFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $123,700.00 to $ 191,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
