Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nThe role will support and execute day to day payroll activities for the countries under our APAC payroll operations. The incumbent will execute end to end payroll processing, support projects, participate and operationalize process efficiencies among other duties. The incumbent will have frequent and regular interactions with cross functional departments and senior management throughout the company. Knowledge of APAC payroll\nThe high level role requirements are listed below\nAnalysis and validation of payroll reports.\nComplete post payroll audits and reporting, prepare metrics and track errors.\nReview of current payroll processes to identify areas of process improvements, standardization and risk mitigation.\nDocumentation of payroll processes and procedures as well as creating process maps and payroll training manuals.\nActively participating in payroll projects.\nInterpret pay policies such as holiday worked, overtime, calculation basis for deductions, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etcetera and ensure appropriate amounts or deductions are calculated and applied to the various accounts correctly.\nMaintenance of payroll systems and tools ensuring that they correctly compute and record time, process earnings, employee benefits, special deductions, mandated benefits, taxes, garnishments, and other items that affect net pay and/or company liability.\nVerify compliance with government payroll requirements and maintain knowledge of legislation.\nOversee payroll system testing for version and legislative updates.\nParticipate in internal or external audits, and other related compliance documentation required by government agencies.\nEnsure that all payroll related data is handled in accordance with the company guidelines and policies.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\n\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.Qualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)\nPreferred Qualifications: 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)\nDiploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Human Resources or other relevant field, or equivalent experience of 5 or more years in APAC payroll as Payroll Analyst for a large multi-country employer.\nDeep working knowledge in APAC payroll statutory regulations.\nExposure and knowledge of working with various payroll systems.\nExposure to knowledge transfer activities such as transition planning, knowledge transfer, process documentation, etcetera.\nAbility to prioritize, organize and coordinate multiple projects.\nMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, growth-oriented work environment with tight timeline.\nCustomer focused, meticulous and with strong analytical, organization and planning skills.\nAbility to work independently, positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn new things\nAble to maintain good working relationships with payroll vendors and stakeholders\nProficiencies in automation and use of AI tools.\nProficient in English communication skills both verbal and written\nCandidates with the ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written \nMandarin Chinese will have an advantage.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
