Within VCA, the Portfolio Optimization team focuses on helping financial institutions improve the performance and growth of their payments portfolios through data-driven strategies and solutions.\nAs aPortfolio Optimization Intern, you will join our Central Europe team and combine client-facing consulting work with strategic initiatives that develop and enhance VCA’s Portfolio Optimization solutions. This includes working with client teams on portfolio growth challenges, collaborating with Data Science to improve data-driven solutions, and supporting the development and testing of new approaches and tools across the practice.\nExample Projects\nYou may contribute to projects such as:\nSupporting banks in increasing card activation and customer engagement.\nDeveloping customer segmentation strategies using transaction data.\nHelping design loyalty, retention and portfolio growth initiatives.\nSupporting the development of new consulting and analytics solutions for European clients.\nContributing to initiatives that enhance how Visa Consulting & Analytics leverages data, AI and automation across engagements.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\nAs a Portfolio Optimization Intern, you will:\nSupport consulting teams with research, data analysis and preparation of client deliverables.\nContribute to the development of new Portfolio Optimization products, solutions and thought leadership content.\nAssist with internal strategic initiatives that support the growth and industrialization of the Portfolio Optimization practice.\nCollaborate with colleagues across Consulting, Data Science and local market teams.\nPrepare presentations, insights and recommendations based on quantitative analysis.\nSupport project management activities and tracking of practice initiatives.\nParticipate in team meetings, training sessions and project discussions.\nGain exposure to client-facing work and, where appropriate, client meetings.\nVisa's Internship Programme\n Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees.
