Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nJob Summary:\nProduct Managers in Product Development/Management drive product strategy from conception and definition through implementation. They identify new business and market opportunities, create business plans, and determine market requirements for products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and image. The role functions as a central resource, interacting with systems, marketing, and sales during product development, and formulates and executes long-term plans for cost and profit control. Product Managers promote the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDirect product strategy from conception through implementation.\nIdentify and evaluate new business and market opportunities.\nDevelop business plans and determine market requirements for products.\nEnsure product consistency with organizational image and objectives.\nServe as a central resource, collaborating with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.\nFormulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.\nPromote adoption of new technologies and industry-leading trends.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.\nExperience in product management, product ownership, business process analysis, or sales operations.\nExperience applying Agile principles across design, development, testing, and product management.\nExperience developing software capabilities to support sales, service, or customer relationship management functions.\nExperience in managing and implementing complex projects directly or through supervision.\nExperience working in cross-functional teams to implement and assess operational impact of process changes.\nExperience soliciting and translating user feedback to inform product development.\nExperience driving product development with high velocity and quality.\nExperience in project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices such as Agile.\nExperience leading large Scrum teams.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.\nAgile certifications such as CSM and CSPO, or their equivalent.\nExperience working with issuers and clients in the financial services industry or high-growth technology companies.\nExperience in product management in payments, common services, and identity and access management.\nExperience in API development using SOAP or REST, JSON, and XML.\nExperience in API security, security standards, data encryption, and HSMs.\nExperience managing cross-functional teams in global, highly matrixed organizations.\nExperience developing and executing product strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
