Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.\nWithin VCA exists VCA Implementation Services (VIS), a hands-on execution partner, implementing, operating, and optimizing Visa products in client environments to accelerate activation, portfolio growth, risk control, and data-driven performance.\nAs a Consulting Project Analyst, you will work within a team as trusted advisors to large multinational merchants and payment platforms headquartered or operating in Central Europe. Your clients will include globally recognized brands and digital leaders (e.g. global payment technology platforms, e-commerce platforms, global marketplaces, travel and mobility players).\nAnalysts are expected to manage projects, collaborate across teams, and translate complex data into strategic recommendations for clients.\nAll roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.\nSpecific Responsibilities include:\nSupport a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients. \nComplete detailed analysis on client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data with some guidance. \nConduct market research and data analysis to identify insights in the payment industry. \nSupport the development of client-specific presentations by adapting templates for unique client scenarios and needs. \nSupport senior consultants in developing and delivering high-quality advisory solutions to clients, such as business strategy, product development & pricing, customer segmentation and customer experience improvement. \nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nWhat we'd like from you -\nPayment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.\nStrategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.\nAble to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.\nUse and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.\nAbility to execute quantitative & qualitative analysis with some guidance.\nBasic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline; ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.\nStrong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.\nStrong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.\nProficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.\nAn interest in learning advanced analytics tools (SAS, R, Tableau, etc.).\nAn interest in payments, financial institutions or consumer lending a plus.\nAn affinity for payments technology, FinTech and digital.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
