Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nWe are currently looking for an ambitious and dynamic auditor to join our expanding Internal Audit department. There is real opportunity for growth by covering a broad array of audits and gaining experience across Visa’s various business units.\nThe main purpose of the role is to execute internal audits covering all aspects of Visa’s operations; assessing business processes and risks and evaluating internal controls to provide an independent appraisal of Visa’s internal control environment. Recommendations to improve business processes and controls, and contribution towards greater business efficiency will be key deliverables.\nIt is expected that this position will include responsibility for the execution of complex audit projects in accordance with plan. The Senior Internal Auditor should expect to assume a lead role in managing the completion of audit assignments under the direction of the Internal Audit management team.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop work program, in consultation with the auditor in-charge, for efficient tests of key controls\nExecute specific areas of a project, performing audit work using the standard audit methodology to evaluate risk, determine control objectives, and verify the extent to which client techniques meet objectives.\nDocument test results in work papers ready for review by the auditor in- charge.\nInform auditor in-charge of project status and results.\nInteracts with management to assess audit findings including control weaknesses. Keep auditor in-charge informed of audit findings, and assist business partners with the development of Management Action Plans to mitigate weaknesses, and evaluate adequacy of management's response. Where appropriate, test corrective action taken.\nMaintain business relationships with appropriate levels of management to ensure that Audit is aware of changes in business activities and objectives, and a necessary Audit response is developed.\nPossess good written and oral communication skills and demonstrate these skills during the audit process to the appropriate level of Visa and Audit management.\nDemonstrate understanding of Visa's and Internal Audit's strategic vision, be a self-starter, and responsible for actions promoting this strategic vision.\nInteract with Audit project team members in working towards Departmental goals.\nDevelop and maintain strong business relationships with appropriate levels of management to ensure that Audit is aware of changes in business activities and objectives, and a necessary audit response is developed.\nPromote new ideas and new ways of executing projects and internal infrastructure enhancements. Demonstrate commitment to Visa’s and Internal Audit’s strategic vision, be a self-starter, and promote project ownership and responsibility for actions.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree, or equivalent, in business, accounting, management information systems, or related field.\nDemonstrable internal audit experience, preferably with a large financial institution, or Big 4 assurance experience.\nCIA, ACA, CPA or other relevant professional certification highly desired. Demonstrated experience executing audits within a complex operational and regulatory environment.\nExperience evaluating controls associated with complex business processes.
