Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.\nWithin VCA exists Visa Implementation Services (VIS) for Advisory, a team of global consultants dedicated to helping our clients grow their businesses through strategic execution and implementation support.\nVIS South Cone is seeking a hands-on technical and functional leader to drive end-to-end implementations of Visa digital and tech solutions across issuers, fintechs, acquirers, and large retailers. You will lead complex programs spanning issuing, risk, fraud, and authorization and acceptance domains, as well as core technology initiatives-e.g., issuer processing implementations on Pismo or Acceptance Full Stack, fraud decisioning with FeatureSpace, wallet integrations, and SDK deployments, among others -while shaping client roadmaps and ensuring secure, scalable outcomes. A key part of the role is orchestrating integrations with Visa teams, third-party vendors and system integrators to deliver cohesive, enterprise-grade solutions.\nWhat we’re looking for:\n7+ years in tech products or technical program/project management, solution architecture, or implementation consulting within payments, banks or fintech.\nComfort operating in ML/AI environments and understanding of how models and integrations behave.\nProven leadership delivering programs for issuers, fintechs, acquirers, and/or retailers, with tangible outcomes in risk, fraud, and authorization performance.\nDemonstrated experience leading integrations with third-party vendors and system integrators to deliver end-to-end tech solutions.\nStrong grasp of card payments, authorization flows, fraud strategies, and real-time decisioning.\nAbility to define architectures, integration patterns (APIs, MCPs, webhooks, eventing), data models, and security controls at enterprise scale.\nExecutive presence and client-facing skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.\nFluent in Spanish and English; excellent written and verbal communication is mandatory.\nNice to have:\nHands-on experience integrating payment platforms and services such as Pismo, FeatureSpace, wallets/tokenization, and SDKs (mobile/web) is nice to have.\nPractical knowledge of API design and testing.\nImpact you’ll have:\nAccelerate time-to-market for clients’ digital propositions while improving fraud loss rates, authorization approval rates, and platform resilience.\nCreate reusable delivery playbooks and technical assets that scale across issuers, fintechs, acquirers, and retailers in the region.\nSpecific Responsibilities include:\nUnderstand client needs and present tailored tech solutions\nQuantify solution value and differentiation\nCreate sales materials and presentations\nIdentify key stakeholders and processes\nLead expert team effectively (data scientists, data engineers, tech or risk technical experts)\nCommunicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nFoster cordial relationships among different groups by displaying strong diplomacy skills\nMaintain a deep understanding of the competitive environment for Visa solutions\nLeverage understanding to shape solutions that differentiate Visa\nCommunicate technical and non-technical aspects of solutions\nBuild relationships for cross-selling and up-selling\nWork comfortably with diverse Visa clients\nAlign all sales materials with Visa's core values and brand identity\nDevelop profitable pricing strategies\nDemonstrate strong project and program management skills\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\nExperience working in client-facing environments, including pre-sales or consulting.\nAPI and integration Strategy and Implementation\nDemonstrated ability to sell solutions\nStrong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to measure the financial impact to a client\nConversant in fraud risk management systems and technology\nEntrepreneurial mindset energized by the possibility of building a new business\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise systems.\nCollaborative approach with internal and external partners\nResilient in navigating through ambiguity and translating the theoretical to applicable\nGrowth mindset that embraces creativity, optimism, and failing-fast.\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
