Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nVisa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.\nSpecific Responsibilities include\nLead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities with clients.\nEngage in regular strategic & planning discussions, cultivate and manage a pipeline of analytic work.\nDevelop analytical frameworks, approaches, solutions and data-led strategies that address impactful opportunities and challenges.\nPartner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, products, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.\nProduce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues, and provide strategic mentorship for client priorities.\nBuild new scalable solutions, toolkits, standard methodology documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across VCA practices.\nLead team to provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training as well as across functional teams and or regions in the role as an analytics subject matter expert.\nOversee multiple workstreams + project delivery, meeting objectives and timelines.\nTranslate data and analytics into clear strategic insights and recommendations that help clients improve performance, address business challenges, and identify opportunities across the payments P&L.\nManage multiple complex engagements and commercial priorities simultaneously, balancing client expectations, internal stakeholders, resources, timelines, and quality of delivery.\nDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, translating complex client business needs, data, and assumptions into structured recommendations and executable plans.\nContribute to the development and scaling of VCA capabilities, including new solutions, frameworks, toolkits, best practices, and reusable consulting approaches that can be leveraged across markets and clients.\nProvide leadership and guidance to project teams, helping structure complex engagements, ensuring quality of deliverables, and supporting the development of consultants and managers involved in project execution.\nTake ownership of the commercial performance of the assigned portfolio, contributing to pipeline development, engagement conversion, revenue growth, and expansion of VCA relationships with priority clients.\nIdentify opportunities to scale successful approaches across clients and markets, connecting local client needs with regional VCA priorities and broader Visa capabilities.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\n5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree.\n 5+ years of experience in payments, financial services, consulting, or a related industry, with strong exposure to merchant acquiring, acceptance, cards, or payments strategy.\nDemonstrated experience in strategy and/or management consulting, including leading complex engagements, structuring ambiguous business problems, developing data-driven recommendations, and applying consulting methodologies.\nStrong commercial orientation and business development capabilities, with experience identifying client needs, shaping opportunities, developing scopes of work, and contributing to pipeline development and engagement conversion.\nProven project leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple complex engagements simultaneously, manage senior stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive execution against agreed objectives and timelines.\nPassionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.\nKnowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, and marketing initiatives.\nExcellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor.\nStrong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.\nExecutive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.\nDemonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found
