Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nAs a Staff Software Engineer (AI Cybersecurity), you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and enhancing next-generation cybersecurity platforms powered by AI and Generative AI technologies. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment to develop scalable, secure, and resilient systems, including real-time services, REST APIs, and container-based solutions.\nYou will collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver innovative AI-driven capabilities for vulnerability management, security testing, and threat detection. You will be responsible for architecting solutions, driving technical excellence, and mentoring team members while leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted engineering tools.\nThis role requires strong technical depth, leadership, and a passion for integrating emerging technologies such as machine learning and GenAI into enterprise-scale cybersecurity products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and enhance scalable and secure cybersecurity platforms and services.\nArchitect and build distributed systems, REST APIs, and container-based applications.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.\nLead design and implementation of components for large-scale transaction and security systems.\nDrive innovation by incorporating AI/ML and Generative AI into cybersecurity solutions.\nDevelop AI-driven capabilities such as automated vulnerability detection, intelligent payload generation, and risk scoring.\nLeverage GenAI tools and coding co-pilots to improve development productivity and code quality.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with product management, security, and engineering teams.\nEnsure adherence to software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.\nMentor and guide engineers to support technical growth and delivery excellence.\nLead technical discussions with cross-functional and non-technical stakeholders.\nThis is a hybrid position. Expectationofdays in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.\n6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.\n\nStrong experience in full stack development of real-time, distributed systems and services.\n\nExperience building REST APIs and container-based solutions.\n\nStrong programming skills with hands-on experience in Python development.\n\nSolid understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning concepts, including model design and evaluation.\n\nExperience leveraging Generative AI tools and coding co-pilots in software development workflows.\n\nUnderstanding of GenAI frameworks and technologies such as LLMs, prompt engineering, and model integration patterns.\n\nExperience analyzing requirements and architecting scalable and secure solutions.\n\nExperience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and code quality standards.\n\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\n\nExperience building AI-powered or data-driven cybersecurity solutions.\n\nExperience working in agile, self-managed engineering teams.\n\nExperience driving innovation and delivering solutions in fast-paced environments.\n\nExperience partnering with product teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.\n\nExperience in unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration pipelines.\n\nAbility to mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across teams.\n\nVisa is an EEO Employer\nQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.
