Progress starts with you.\nJob Description\nThe Global Cross Border team is responsible for defining the cross border business strategy across travel and eCommerce and managing its execution across our five regions, working closely with market teams and cross-functional leaders around the world.\nCross Border is a key pillar of Visa’s 2030 strategy and one of the largest growth opportunities for Visa. Equally, it faces many complex and interesting challenges, touching all areas of the business, including product, pricing, legal, regulation, marketing, client engagement, and partnerships.\nAs a Strategy Analyst, you will play an important role in driving the growth and development of our cross border business through travel initiatives focused on issuers, merchants, and end-consumers. Additionally, you will support the buildout of the Visa Destinations platform (destinations.visa.com) by working with the regional and global cross border teams.\nThe successful candidate will work on innovative strategies that enhance our cross border travel value propositions and effectively target our global customer segments. By leveraging market insights, customer analytics, and competitive intelligence, you will develop and implement strategies across product, loyalty, offers, benefits, marketing services, and key customer segments. This role will interact extensively with regional and functional teams to ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals, driving commercial impact and long-term sustainable growth.\nEssential Functions:\nBuild winning strategies across key travel corridors.\nSupport initiatives to strengthen our XB value proposition and help define our global strategy for target markets and corridors\n\nHelp define our global strategy for travel personas (expats, students, etc.).\n\nSupport investment prioritization and management across regions.\n\nSupport work with key issuers and global clients to increase cross-border PV and market share\n\nScale Visa Destinations globally, growing our new, differentiated global travel platform.\nHelp build out and fortify the value propositions of current destinations (e.g. Paris, NY), including sharing best practices\n\nWork with regional XB teams to define the vision, strategy and value propositions of new destinations (e.g. Madrid, Tokyo, Egypt), and support execution.\n\nSupport issuer adoption and value creation.\n\nXB Travel Strategy and analytics\nLeverage market, competitive and internal data to develop hypotheses and analyses to inform key strategic decisions (e.g. market prioritization, issuer prioritization, etc.)\n\nSupport senior management updates and progress tracking\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and execution -working with teams and clients around the world. We’re looking for someone who thrives in complexity, thinks globally, and executes with speed.\nVisa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\n2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)\n\nExperience in a strategic, product or international role within a global organization\n\nUnderstanding of international markets, customer segmentation, and value proposition development, including business case development and go-to-market planning .\n\nExceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.\n\nProficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience in consumer financial services and payments is beneficial\n\nDemonstrated success in driving growth initiatives.\n\nMultilingual capabilities are a plus.\n\nInformation for US Applicants\nFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $123,000.00 to $ 190,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
