To support this initiative, the company is seeking Software Engineers who can contribute to both engineering and architecture design, taking ownership of designing and implementing autonomous AI agents powered by predictive and generative models.

VISASQ is hiring both Mid-level and Senior Engineers. Founded in 2012 and still led by its founder and CEO, the publicly listed company combines the mindset of a fast-growing startup with the stability of an established business. The engineering organization is expanding in Japan while collaborating closely with teams across the United States and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, including Co-CTOs, Team Leads, Product Managers, and Business Development teams across Japan, the US, and Europe to drive global ENS product strategy.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient backend systems and APIs that support core matching, search, and next-generation AI-driven features.
• Support the integration and deployment of autonomous AI agents and LLM orchestration while ensuring optimal backend architecture and system performance.
• Promote a full-cycle development culture by owning the entire software lifecycle, including testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and production operations.
• Refactor legacy systems, optimize database performance, and proactively address technical debt to improve maintainability and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• Business-level English for collaboration with global teams and business-level Japanese for working effectively with local product and business stakeholders.
• Mid-level Candidates: 3+ years of professional experience building, deploying, and maintaining web applications and scalable APIs using modern backend technologies.
• Senior-level Candidates: 5+ years of experience, including expertise in designing event-driven architectures, optimizing complex database queries, and influencing technology decisions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean and maintainable code, testing best practices, and robust database design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Architecture: Extensive experience designing, deploying, monitoring, and scaling services within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Full-Stack Familiarity: Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and Angular to support full-cycle development.
• Cross-Border Delivery: Experience working successfully in fast-paced startup or scale-up environments with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
