The start date is by mutual agreement.\nIf so, this could be the right opportunity for you!\nResponsibilitiesReview architectures and solution designs to ensure compliance with security principles, standards, and best practices.\nDefine security requirements and recommend practical, risk-based security controls for projects and technology initiatives.\nEngineer, maintain, and optimize enterprise security technologies, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, and endpoint, network, and cloud security solutions.\nDevelop and maintain security architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation guidelines.\nConduct security assessments, threat modelling, and technical risk analyses.\nCollaborate with infrastructure, operations, cloud, and development teams to integrate security into platforms, services, and processes.\nSupport the investigation and resolution of security incidents and technical security issues.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and drive the continuous improvement of security capabilities and processes.\nPromote Secure by Design, Zero Trust, and Defence in Depth principles across the enterprise.\nQualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of professional experience in IT Security, Security Engineering, Network Security, Application Security or Cloud Security.\nUnderstanding of modern security frameworks and methodologies, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), Zero Trust, and Defence-in-Depth.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.\nHands-on experience implementing and managing enterprise security technologies, understanding security architecture principles and secure engineering practices, and reviewing technical designs and architectures from a security perspective.\nExperience in one or more of the following areas: SIEM/Security Monitoring, EDR/XDR, IAM/PAM, Vulnerability Management/CTEM, Network Security (WAF/Web Proxy), Cloud Security, or Endpoint Security.\nAvailability to participate in on-call rotation outside standard business hours, according to team schedules.\nFluency in Italian is required; English proficiency is preferred.\nPreferred: Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SC-200, Azure Security Engineer, CISSP Associate, CCSP, or equivalent; experience with Azure security services; experience with automation, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline development, and Agentic AI technologies.\nJob BenefitsAt Viseca you will work in a dynamic and creative environment with good development opportunities.
