Vishay Pune, India is currently seeking applicants for an Engineer-Data Engineering & Analytics\nJob Location- Magarpatta ,Pune\nJob Summary:\nThe Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and high-quality data pipelines and data platforms across the enterprise application landscape.\nThis role executes the enterprise data strategy defined by the Enterprise Data Architect, translating architecture standards, governance rules, and target-state designs into reliable, production-grade data solutions that support analytics, AI/ML, operational reporting, and downstream integrations.\nThe Data Engineer works hands-on with SAP systems, Salesforce CRM, Pricing and Quoting platform, MES platforms, middleware/integration tools, and cloud data platforms, ensuring enterprise data is trustworthy, accessible, and compliant.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Data Pipeline Engineering & Integration\nDesign, implement, and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines from:\nSAP ECC / S/4HANA (IDocs, extractors, CDS views, APIs),Salesforce CRM, Pricing and quoting platform, Multiple MES systems , External and third-party data sources\nImplement ETL/ELT pipelines using enterprise-approved tools and cloud services\nEnsure reliable orchestration, monitoring, error handling, and recovery of data flows\nOptimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of data ingestion processes\n2. Enterprise Data Platform Development\nBuild and operate enterprise data platforms such as:\nCloud data warehouses / data lakes MS Azure and SAP Business Data Cloud or related data product,SAP BW / analytics backends,\nImplement data models (raw, curated, semantic layers) aligned with:\nEnterprise canonical models\nBusiness domains (Sales, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain)\nEnable analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and self-service BI use cases\n3. Data Quality, Reliability & Observability\nImplement data quality controls, validation rules, reconciliation checks, and alerts. Monitor data freshness, completeness, accuracy, and consistency\nSupport root cause analysis for data issues across source systems and pipelines\nEnsure SLAs are met for business-critical datasets\n4. Data Governance & Security Implementation\nEnforce data governance standards defined by the Enterprise Data Architect, including:\nData ownership and stewardship models,Master data alignment (customer, product, pricing, supplier)\nMetadata, lineage, and documentation standards\nImplement security, privacy, and compliance controls:\nRole-based access control (RBAC),Data masking and encryption,GDPR and regulatory requirements\nSupport audits and compliance assessments related to enterprise data\n5. Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture & Stakeholders\nWork closely with the Enterprise Data Architect to:\nTranslate architecture blueprints into implementable solutions,Contribute to roadmap execution and platform evolution\nCollaborate with:\nApplication teams (SAP, Salesforce, MES)\nIntegration teams (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP BTP Integration Suite)\nAnalytics, BI, and Data Science teams\nBusiness stakeholders and process owners\nProvide technical input to project design, demand intake, and solution reviews\n6.
