Vishay Semiconductors Ind Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India is currently seeking applicants for an Engineer Production\nWhat you will be doing:\nResponsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. \nInterfaces with engineering in coordinating the release of new products. \nEstimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. \nAs required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.\nConduct small group meetings and quality circle activities to improve productivity and cross functional communication\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives for quality, productivity, cost reduction, and waste elimination.\nEnsure effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.\nLead training, skill enhancement programs, and maintain training records and skill matrices.\nResponsible for meeting manufacturing key performance Indicators\n-Production compliance\n- Yield variance\n- Material usage variance\n- Labor hrs recovery\n- Cycle time\n- OQM\n- Inventory Management\nResponsible for effective & efficient use of Manpower, Machine & Material.\nSupervise & develop personnel to ensure intended processes / operations are managed efficiently.\nPromote / encourage open & transparent communication on shop floor.\nShare / communicate shop floor performance / concern areas to operators in small group meetings. \nOptimize manpower, machine utilization, and material consumption to achieve operational targets.\nAnalyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nProvide support in resolving customer complaints or issues.\nDrive training & associated skill enhancement programs & maintain records for the same (training record & skill matrix)\nInitiate motivational programs & other engagement activities for operator. \nWhat will you bring along:\nShould have 4+ yrs of exp in Production/manufacturing. \nAdhere to company policies, discipline, rules & regulation. \nPro-actively participate in various Meetings. \nPresent data / analysis in an effective manner. \nProvide accurate and timely update on various commitments. \nDevelop and practice both verbal and written professional communication skills.\nDevelop and maintain professional & cordial relationships with superiors, peers & subordinates. \nParticipate in 5S drive. \nFollow procedures as per ISO 9k, 14k, 45k Standard. \nDrive cost reduction, waste elimination, and productivity improvement projects. \nIdentify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency· \nDrive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).\nLed root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for production and quality issues. \nSupported capacity expansion, automation, and new product introduction projects.\nEnsured timely execution of production plans while maintaining inventory and customer delivery commitment. \nWhat can we offer you for your talent:\nVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
