Vishay INDIA is currently seeking applicants for Field Application Engineer responsible for providing technical support and advice to the sales team, establishing, and maintaining positive relationships with Research and Development (R&D) engineers and managers. They play a crucial role in supporting customers by offering technical advice, assisting in component selection, and troubleshooting issues. Overall, the individual contributes significantly to the technical and operational effectiveness of the team and the company.\nJob Location: Pune\nWhat you will be doing:\nGiving technical support and advice to sales\nHaving good relationship with R & D engineers and managers\nSupporting customers in terms of technical advice, component selection, and troubleshooting\nFinding out new potential customers in India.\nLeading sales to right way and giving good advice and support for design IN &WIN\nKeeping database effective\nProviding application/component information to divisions in support of new product development.\nWhat you will bring along:\nBachelor’s degree in electronic and electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.\nMinimum 4 years pf relevant experience in Field Application Engineering or project design engineering field in hardware, circuit and electronics engineering/component industries.\nStrong understanding of electronic components, working experience with resistors/capacitors/inductors/diodes/ MOSFETs is preferred.\nAbility to provide technical advice and troubleshooting component-level issues.\nKnowledge of component selection and application in analog circuits such as Switching Power Supply, Buck/Boost converter, OBC, BMS, ADAS, DCDC, and Inverter. \nProven experience in technical sales support or application engineering roles is highly recommended.\nExperience identifying new business opportunities and potential customers.\nKnowledge of the Indian electronics market, including trends and key players is highly recommended.\nWillingness to travel extensively (over 50%) for customer meetings, technical support, and industry events.\nWhat can we offer you for your talent:\nVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage and provides you with resources to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
