In this position, the CMM Technician will directly support quality and on-time shipment goals by performing variable and attribute inspection of products applying customer specification drawing requirements and UltraSource quality procedures as the basis for determining acceptance or rejection.\nJob Location:\nHollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.\nWhat you will be doing:\nUses a CMM(coordinate measuring machine), calipers and micrometers to confirm the dimensional requirements of product based on customer supplied drawing.\nUpdates First Article report with the dimensional and other attribute data as required by the customer in accordance with AS9102 Standard.\nAbility to update programs on the CMM to perform the dimensional verification for repeat part numbers.\nAbility to read and interpret a wide variety of customer prints and specifications.\nPerform customer required testing as part of the verification for product acceptance.\nCollaborate with Quality and Engineering personnel to drive root cause and corrective action for work orders with high dimensional rejection rates.\nWhat you will bring along:\nExperience using calibrated measuring instruments ranging from hand tools to optical measuring equipment\nAbility to read and interpret a wide variety of customer prints and specifications\nHas previous experience understanding GD&T principles\nDetail orientated in data collection and reporting of results\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n1-2 years of experience in a similar role within Quality Assurance\nPrevious work experience within a cleanroom preferred\nWhat 6-12 months will look like:\nAbility to write programs in VB/QVE, with proper training\nWorking ability with DISCUS or NETINPECT\nContinuous interest in training and learning the specifics of the role\nWhat can we offer you for your talent:\nVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
