In this position, you will be accountable for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise-wide data architecture across a complex, SAP-centric application andscape. This role ensures that master, transactional, and analytical data are consistently defined, governed, integrated, and consumed across core platforms including SAP (ERP, BW, GTS, Concur), Salesforce CRM, MES systems, Quoting and Pricing platforms, Finance, Treasury, Trade Compliance, and Analytics.The role operates as the enterprise design authority for data, leads the data governance and MDM operating model, and manages a small team of data engineers to translate architectural decisions into sustainable execution.\nJob Location:\nVishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans.\nWhat you will be doing:\nDefine, maintain, and evolve the Enterprise Data Architecture blueprint, including:\nCore enterprise data domains (Customer, Product/Material, Vendor, Pricing, Finance, Trade Compliance)\nConceptual and logical enterprise data models\nCanonical data definitions and semantic\nAct as Design Authority for all data-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles.\nDefine and enforce enterprise data standards (modeling, naming, semantics, integration).\nCollaborate closely with Enterprise, Solution, and Integration Architects.\nMaster Data & MDM Strategy Ownership:\nOwn the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and execution roadmap.\nDefine domain prioritization (e.g. Customer, Product/Material) and rollout phases.\nEstablish golden record, survivorship, hierarchy, and relationship-management rules.\nLead the design and implementation governance of the selected MDM platform\nOversee data migration, cleansing, and harmonization activities linked to MDM adoption.\nData Governance & Data Quality:\nEstablish and run the Enterprise Data Governance operating model, including:\nData ownership and stewardship framework\nGovernance forums, decision bodies, and escalation mechanisms\nDefine and monitor enterprise data quality rules and KPIs (completeness, accuracy, uniqueness, timeliness).\nImplement structured data issue management and remediation processes.\nEnsure data lineage, traceability, and auditability for critical business and regulatory data.\nCross-Platform Data Consistency & System-of-Record Definition\nDefine and maintain System-of-Record (SoR) / System-of-Engagement (SoE) principles across:\nSAP (ERP, BW, GTS, Concur)\nSalesforce CRM\nMES systems (e.g. Promis, Critical Manufacturing)\nQuoting and pricing platforms\nFinance, Treasury, AP automation, and EDI solutions\nResolve data ownership conflicts and duplication at enterprise level.\nEnsure consistent and governed data synchronization patterns across systems.\nIntegration & Data Semantics Governance:\nDefine enterprise canonical data models and data contracts for cross-system integrations.\nGovern data flows implemented via SAP BTP, MuleSoft, and EDI platforms.\nDefine integration patterns (API, event-driven, batch, EDI) from a data semantics, integrity, and lifecycle standpoint.\nEnsure interface versioning discipline and backward compatibility.\nAnalytics & Reporting Alignment:\nEnsure conformed dimensions and consistent master data usage across analytics and planning platforms (e.g. SAP BW).\nAlign enterprise data definitions with KPIs, reporting, and planning use cases.\nPrevent multiple and conflicting versions of enterprise truth.\nExecution Oversight\nTranslate architectural and governance decisions into executable implementation backlogs.\nReview technical designs and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.\nCoordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners.\nWhat you will bring along:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Governance, or related roles.\nDemonstrated experience in SAP-centric enterprise landscapes integrated with multiple non-SAP platforms.\nProven experience designing and governing Master Data Management solutions\nStrong background in enterprise integration concepts and data exchange patterns.\nExperience operating in complex, global, and regulated environments.\nEnterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, canonical)\nData governance frameworks and stewardship models\nMaster data and reference data management\nData quality frameworks, metrics, and lifecycle management\nIntegration data semantics (API-led, event-driven, batch, EDI)\nSolid understanding of SAP data concepts (Business Partner, Material, Finance, Pricing, BOMs, Routings )\nStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, and decision-making skills\nClear and structured documentation and communication\nManufacturing and MES data architecture\nQuote-to-Cash and pricing data domains\nTrade compliance and regulatory master data (e.g. export control, classification)\nAnalytics and planning data architecture\nExperience leading small technical or architecture teams\nDelivery focused with previous experience on at least one major data lake transition\nEnterprise data ownership and governance model formally established and
