Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Press Operator on 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.\nJob Summary:\nOperates and tends all types of production machines such as several different types of punch presses and feed systems, cut-off saws, deburring machines to product production parts of various metals to include steel, aluminum, copper and other resistive materials, as well as one non-metallic materials.\nWhat you will be doing:\nAt completion of set-up, run an appropriate sample and ensure inspection is performed as required by the appropriate specification.\nRun products as assigned.\nOperator manual feed presses and/or RH lines if assigned per appropriate specification.\nSet-up stamping line per specifications and ensure all raw materials are present and correct.\nWhen appropriate advice die makers of the set-up required for the product you will be running.\nLoads coil stock material onto de-reeler and starts coil stock into dies at proper place as to insure proper tool care.\nUse of machine tools to include lathe, high speed punch press, cut-off saws, and de-burning equipment.\nWhat you will bring along:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nFamiliarity with punch presses, pressroom terminology, equipment & processes preferred\nMust be able to accurately identify different types of raw materials\nMust be able to compute material and finished product counts using basic math skills and a calculator\nWhat can we offer you for your talent:\nVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
