We are currently seeking applicants for a QA Engineer at our fast-growing manufacturing site in Miharu, Fukushima, Japan.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nCreate, document, and track corrective action reports like 8D reports (both customer and internal).\nCommunicate with customer representative/ Sales / Marketing regarding Customer complaints and customer quality questions.\nWork with process engineering personnel and other departments regarding problem root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions\nAnalysis of problem trends and drive continuous improvement actions\nCreates and/or maintains various reports as needed.\nSupport physical analysis of failures in Failure Analysis Lab\nPerforms supplier audits against an established schedule, occasional travel may be required\nAssists in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, VDA 6.3 and internal audits\nSupporting and interacting with customers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending\nTrack corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions\nAdditional duties or functions may be assigned by manager\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n2 year technical degree with 4+ years experience in a technical field\n4 years experience with Internal Quality Systems, Supplier Quality, or Quality Engineering\n2 years experience with Internal or Supplier Auditing\n2 years experience with quality tools implementation including 8D, APQP, SPC\nStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills: able to be assertive and articulate issues in a professional manner\nStrong computer skills\nStrong analytical skills\nMeticulous attention to details\nProficient in spoken and written Japanese “- an advantage”\nGood written and verbal English skills - an advantage\nKnowledge of, experience with, or certifications in the following preferred: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, VDA 6.3, Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Minitab, drawing interpretation.\nReady to join a global team that’s shaping the future of technology?
