Vishay UltraSource, in Hollis, NH, is currently seeking applicants for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator.\nJob Location:\nHollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.\nWhat you will be doing:\nReceiving Duties\nReceive, unpack, and examine incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, or shortages.\nReject damaged items when appropriate and document shortages or shipment discrepancies.\nCommunicate with shippers, vendors, Purchasing, and Quality personnel to resolve issues involving damaged, incorrect, or incomplete shipments.\nCompare identifying information and count items received against bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and other receiving documents.\nRoute received items to the appropriate departments or storage areas.\nMaintain organized files of packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.\nPick up parts or materials from local vendors when necessary.\nVerify that Safety Data Sheets, formerly MSDS, are on file for all received chemicals.\nShipping Duties\nCompare work orders with parts or materials to be shipped to verify accuracy, including quantity, part number, material lot, and other required information.\nUpdate the invoice log in Excel with shipment details such as date, customer name, and work order number.\nAssign invoice numbers to shipments and record them on the appropriate work orders.\nPrepare invoices, packing slips, and certificates of compliance using the company system.\nAssemble cardboard containers, package items properly, and apply required shipping labels and documentation.\nCoordinate shipment pick-ups with FedEx, UPS, outside couriers, or other carriers as needed.\nDeliver late or urgent shipments to FedEx, UPS, or courier drop-off locations when necessary.\nMaintain adequate inventory of shipping materials and supplies.\nRemain available, when needed, to work an occasional Friday-off or stay late to support urgent or important customer deliveries.\nWhat you will bring along:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.\nPrevious experience working with FedEx and UPS shipping portals, and/or customer-directed portals, preferred.\nAbility to read and compare bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, invoices, and work orders.\nBasic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.\nAbility to organize records and maintain accurate documentation.\nMust be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift, move, and handle packages weighing approximately 25-30 lbs.\nAbility to go up and down stairs regularly, as supply inventory is stored on a second floor.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.\nAbility to safely package, move, and transport materials as required.\nWhat can we offer you for your talent:\nVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
