In addition to managing a personal pipeline, this role provides guidance and support to other underwriters and helps ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence across the underwriting function.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage a pipeline of complex loan files, reviewing documentation to determine borrower eligibility and mitigate fraud risk\nIndependently complete underwriting decisions in accordance with company standards, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements\nEvaluate and document Enhanced Review requests, including clearly articulated rationale for approved exceptions\nServe as a subject matter expert on underwriting guidelines, SOPs, and investor requirements\nProvide guidance, technical support, and mentorship to underwriting team members\nEnsure loans meet compliance standards and are marketable for investors\nEvaluate borrower creditworthiness, collateral, and repayment capacity\nConfirm all lending conditions are satisfied prior to closing\nMaintain acceptable turnaround times and SLAs while managing complex files\nDeliver exceptional customer service to internal teams and external partners\nCollaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, efficiency, and loan quality\nPerform other duties as assigned based on business needs\nAuthorized Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, NC, SC, TX, UT\nWork Schedule: Monday -
