Title: Treasurer\nDepartment: Finance - Treasury\nReports To: Director of Finance\nLocation: Dubai, UAE\nRole Purpose\nThe Treasurer will manage the Group’s cash, liquidity, banking relationships, funding, and financial risks across all Group entities.\nThe role will ensure that sufficient working capital is available at both entity and Group levels, optimize the utilization of cash, manage banking facilities and debt, and safeguard the Group against foreign exchange, interest rate, and counterparty risks.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage daily cash positioning and liquidity across all Group entities and bank accounts.\nPrepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts at both entity and Group levels.\nMonitor and optimize intercompany cash movements, pooling arrangements, and funding between entities.\nManage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including account structures, signatories, and facility renewals.\nNegotiate and manage credit facilities, overdrafts, term loans, guarantees, and letters of credit.\nMonitor compliance with covenants relating to existing debt and credit facilities.\nEnsure the timely and accurate execution of payments, transfers, and treasury transactions.\nManage foreign currency exposure and execute hedging strategies where required.\nMonitor interest rate exposure and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.\nEvaluate counterparty and bank credit risks across the Group’s banking relationships.\nMaintain treasury policies, controls, and approval workflows in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.\nSupport the Director of Finance in assessing funding requirements for capital expenditure, projects, and working capital.\nCoordinate bank guarantees and performance bonds required for projects and contracts.\nProvide treasury and liquidity input into annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.\nPrepare Board and management reporting on cash positions, banking facilities, and treasury risks.\nSupport statutory audit requirements relating to cash, debt, guarantees, and treasury disclosures.\nEnsure treasury operations comply with Group policies, UAE regulations, and banking covenants.\nCoordinate with the Financial Controller and Chief Accountant to align treasury activities with AP and AR cash flow requirements.\nSupport corporate structuring, new bank account openings, and entity-level banking setup.\nPerform other treasury and funding-related responsibilities assigned by Finance management.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.\nProfessional qualification such as CTP, ACT, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.\nMinimum 6-8 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking relationships.\nExperience managing multi-entity or Group-level cash and banking structures is strongly preferred.\nExperience negotiating credit facilities and managing banking relationships.\nStrong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange, and interest rate risk management.\nExperience with Oracle Fusion or a similar ERP/treasury system is preferred.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nKey Competencies\nStrong cash and liquidity management skills.\nStrong banking relationship management and negotiation skills.\nSound understanding of financial risks, including FX, interest rate, and counterparty risks.\nHigh level of attention to detail and control discipline.\nAbility to manage multiple entities and bank accounts simultaneously.\nStrong analytical and forecasting abilities.\nConfident communicator with senior management and external banks.\nStrong ownership of deadlines and treasury
