The role requires deep expertise across the ServiceNow platform, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to mentor developers while driving technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nArchitecture and Solution Design: \nDesign end-to-end ServiceNow technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.\nDefine platform architecture, application design patterns, and development standards.\nConduct solution design workshops and technical discovery sessions with stakeholders.\nCreate and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.\nEvaluate customization requirements and recommend OOTB capabilities wherever possible.\nEnsure platform scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.\n\nDevelopment Leadership: \nLead development activities across ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.\nProvide technical direction and oversight to developers and administrators.\nReview code and enforce development best practices.\nDevelop complex business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, flows, and integrations.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.\nConduct technical estimations and support project planning activities.\n\nPlatform Development\nDevelop and configure ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and Studio.\nConfigure workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Workflow Editor (where applicable).\nDevelop custom applications and scoped applications.\nImplement platform upgrades and patching activities.\n\nIntegration and Automation: \nDesign and develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, IntegrationHub, MID Server, JDBC integrations, LDAP/AD integrations, and SSO (SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect).\nLead integration architecture discussions with external systems.\nEnsure secure data exchange and integration governance.\n\nServiceNow Module Expertise: \nLead technical implementation across one or more of the following modules:\nITSM: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management.\nITOM: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Discovery.\nITAM: Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro).\nSPM: Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Agile Development 2.0 Resource Management.\nHRSD: Employee Center, HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events.\nCSM: Customer Service Management, Omnichannel, Agent Workspace.\nSecOps / GRC: Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Risk and Compliance.\n\nTechnical Responsibilities\nDevelop: Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs, Notifications, Scheduled Jobs, Transform Maps, Import Sets, Service Portal Components, and Employee Center Components.\nConfigure: Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Virtual Agent, Workspaces, Performance Analytics, Reports, and Dashboards.\nImplement: Scoped Applications, Custom APIs, Scripted REST Services, Catalog Items, Record Producers, and Service Catalog Workflows.\n\nGovernance and Quality Assurance: \nEstablish ServiceNow development standards and governance processes.\nConduct code reviews and solution reviews.\nEnsure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and platform guardrails.\nSupport security reviews and performance optimization.\nParticipate in CAB, architecture review boards, and governance forums.\nLead technical risk assessments and mitigation planning.\n\nStakeholder Management: \nWork closely with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions.\nPresent technical solutions and recommendations to leadership teams.\nSupport client workshops and executive-level discussions.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n15+ years of IT experience.\n10+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.\nExperience leading ServiceNow implementation programs.\nExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments.\nStrong JavaScript development experience.\nExperience with ServiceNow platform architecture and governance.\nTechnical Skills: ServiceNow Platform, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, Employee Center, Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, Workspace Configuration.\nDevelopment: JavaScript, Glide APIs, Jelly, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs.\nIntegrations: REST, SOAP, OAuth, SAML, LDAP, MID Server.\nDevOps: Source Control Integration, Update Sets, CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Test Framework (ATF).\n\nPreferred Certifications: \nMandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), and CIS certifications in SPM, HRSD, CSM, ITOM, or ITAM (min. 3).\nPreferred: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) -
