Marketing Services Director

Help shape the future of movie marketing

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing leader to help cinema clients get more value from their customer data, marketing technology and audience engagement strategies.

As Marketing Services Director, you’ll lead the delivery of operational and strategic marketing services for Vista Group’s cinema clients. You’ll work closely with senior marketing stakeholders, Account Management, Data Science, Product and Film teams to develop targeted campaigns, strengthen customer engagement and turn moviegoer insights into practical marketing strategies.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of both the day to day delivery and continued development of our marketing services, including:

• Overseeing operational marketing services, including team resource allocation, delivery processes and client escalations
• Planning and delivering targeted marketing campaigns, from audience selection and asset acquisition through to performance reporting
• Turning campaign results and customer data into clear insights and recommendations
• Providing strategic marketing support to cinema clients, including loyalty programme analysis, campaign strategy and planning
• Scoping Statements of Work for operational and strategic services
• Building trusted relationships with client marketing stakeholders and developing a strong understanding of their business needs
• Helping clients maximise their use of Movio through account reviews, training and planning sessions
• Partnering with Data Science to shape client specific moviegoer analysis and inform marketing strategies
• Acting as a subject matter expert on cinema trends, digital marketing and the use of moviegoer data
• Supporting the continued growth of Vista Group’s marketing services and internal subject matter expertise.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a confident relationship builder who can move comfortably between strategic client conversations and operational delivery. You’ll understand how data, CRM and digital marketing can work together to create more relevant and effective customer experiences.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• At least five years’ experience within the cinema or film industry, working in marketing or sales
• Advanced knowledge of digital marketing and CRM
• Strong experience with targeted marketing and consumer analytics
• The ability to interpret data and apply customer insights to marketing decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to build trust with clients and internal teams
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field
• A genuine interest in film marketing and the movie industry.
