Evaluates technologies choices discussing tradeoffs and benefits.\nProblem solution address ambiguos problems, able to define the problem and the solution.\nDeveloping robust, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices.\nMaintaining and enhancing existing backend systems to ensure reliability and performance.\nTesting the solution code and contributing to automated test coverage.\nAssisting Quality Assurance Engineers with debugging, test planning, and issue resolution.\nDocumenting system architecture, design decisions, implemented solutions, workarounds, and root cause analyses.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions.\nLeadership may manage and mentor other staff engineers shaping the overall engineering culture.\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ Years Hands-on experience in SW product development in a linux distributed applications environment \nAnalyze, develop, design, and maintain software for CommScope ServAssure product family \nMinimum BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar degree program \nHighly proficient in Java with in-depth knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks, Kafka and Kafka Stream, Web Services (REST APIs). \nExperience leading a small group of engineers, defining tasks and provide guidance to solve the problem or assigned work.\nExperience with database design and maintenance of old records, using SQL and NoSQL database and distributed in-memory data store such as Apache Ignite or Redis. \nSolid understanding of network programming, including Sockets, TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP and related networking protocols \nExposure to cloud native architecture and experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud deployments and containerized applications. \nExcellent analytical, problem-solving skills, able to discover the issue, define the problem and tasks to solve it.\nSelf-motivated with ability to work autonomus in distributed teams and keep learning.\nGreat English communication skills -
