The ideal candidate is expected to possess good organizational skills, be logical with an understanding of mathematics to enable quick and accurate detailing of activities and associated outcomes.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nResponsible for Capital Asset Budget control, purchasing and negotiation of quotations associated with Capital projects.\nMaintenance of equipment and calibration control.\nMaintenance of equipment listing for different site locations and departments.\nControl of Assets and disposition, good, repairable, scrap, developing a Return on Investment system for determining equipment viability.\nCost reduction support through validation of new vendors\nSupport of the various departments with Asset management Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and RMA reviewing equipment requests and repurposing equipment to support these activities.\nWorking with Manufacturing and Business Teams, Conducting Equipment Audits\nJoining Project Teams as required\nQualifications\nDegree/Diploma in a scientific subject (maths/engineering)\nProficiency in computer applications (word, excel, email, access) essential\nProficiency in English and Spanish.\nGood organizational skills, ability to plan and work to the plan.\nExperience: · 2-3 years problem solving.\nCompetencies / Skills:\nVery thorough approach and attention to detail\nExperience / Qualification in Mathematics/Science\nAbility to complete tasks with minimum supervision\nExcellent interpersonal, analytical, communication, presentation and organizational skills\nFlexibility in approach to work required\nSelf-motivation with drive, enthusiasm, innovation and commitment\nPositive team player, with the ability to work effectively both on own initiative and as part of a team\nAbility to work well under pressure in a team environment essential.\nAbility to co-ordinate and prioritize tasks.\nStrong analytical and project management skills essential\nCommitment to innovation, continuous improvement and excellence.\nPositive Attitude to Customer Issues (internal and external)\nThis position will manage manufacturing and Process Equipment across multiple facilities.
