You will join a collaborative HR department consisting of a HR Manager, 3 HR Business Partners, and 2 HR Operations specialists.\nAs a key new addition to our team, this role takes direct ownership of absence management and reintegration. You will serve as a compassionate guide for employees and line managers, navigate Dutch legislation in close partnership with our company doctor, analyze verzuim trends, and leverage automation and AI to simplify our processes and build a proactive health culture.\nWhat You Will Do\nServe as strategic advisor: Lead complex absence cases, advising employees, managers, the company doctor, and Safety & Quality teams.\n\nCoordinate on-site medical care: Organize weekly doctor hours and translate medical findings into clear employability plans.\n\nEnsure legal compliance: Protect the organization from UWV wage sanctions through 100% compliance with the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (WVP).\n\nOversee reintegration coaching: Guide complex Track 1 and Track 2 (Spoor 1 & Spoor 2) cases, offering empathetic support and resolving workplace conflict.\n\nManage external partners: Direct our self-insurance (eigenrisicodragerschap) partner to drive active claim recovery and timely interventions.\n\nRedesign workflows with AI: Partner with the People Systems & Automation team to automate intake, synthesize data, and remove administrative friction.\n\nUtilize data-driven prevention: Analyze absence trends to detect departmental patterns and deliver strategic recommendations to management.\n\nCoach managers on absence: Train line managers to hold empathetic, solution-focused discussions for frequent short-term absence and return-to-work plans.\n\nDevelop health initiatives: Build light-duty job catalogs, support workplace accommodations, and lead vitality projects like PMOs.\n\nYour Qualifications\nAt VistaPrint we seek individuals who bring new ideas and perspectives to our teams and improve our culture.
