Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mauritius and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Accounting Team and its’ growth.\nKey responsibilities:\nPrepare management Accounts for Real Estate Entities.\nPrepare capital calls and distributions.\nPrepare investor reporting on periodic basis and respond to ad hoc client and investor queries.\nProvide annual and periodic bookkeeping and prepare full set financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS.\nLiaise directly with auditors and internal or external clients as and when required to ensure quality service and resolve accounting queries.\nMaintain details of work completed on Enlighten and time sheets to allow production of quarterly statistics, and rebilling data.\nAssist in regulatory reporting and provide relevant information to tax advisors for preparation of tax returns.\nAssist Senior Accounting Associates, Accounting Associates and Accounting Assistants with their work.\nCompliance with internal policies and procedures and adherence with relevant accounting procedure manuals.\n\nKey requirements:\nHave at least 3-5 years’ experience in the financial services sector.\nPartly qualified ACCA or degree in management, accounting, or finance.\nAwareness of financial markets and Real estate structures would be an advantage.\nSound knowledge of IFRS and relevant GAAPs.\nGood interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationship with colleagues abroad.\nWell organised, analytical and resourceful.\nAbility to solve problems and work independently and as a member of a team.\nProficiency in MS office applications (Word & Excel).\nFlexible to work across different teams.\nAnalytical, well organised, and resourceful.\nCompany Benefits:\nAt our Vistra Mauritius office, we believe in putting our employees’ well-being first!
