This role builds and develops the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation, leads projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation, coordinates internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget, analyzes project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met and establishes and maintains relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.Job Description\nKey Accountabilities\nDemonstrated delivery of projects within cost and schedule constraints involving multiple vendors and coordination of a variety of internal work.\nProviding a high level of customer service, continuous day-to-day support to peers/groups and proactive involvement to leadership, fellow peers and customers.\nFocusing on continuous improvement and providing leadership on initiatives and projects.\nDrive project team adherence to online and outage work management milestones.\nDemonstrated troubleshooting ability to identify issues, assess alternatives and risks, and implement solutions while keeping overall project on track.\nEstablish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.\nDevelop and maintain high quality project management documentation.\nDevelop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers\nAssign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.\nReport project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.\nPerforming Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as assigned.\nEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management with eight to ten (8-10) years of experience leading and managing projects (preferred) OR High School diploma with twelve (12) years of experience leading and managing projects.\nEight to ten (8-10) years' experience at a commercial nuclear power plant preferred.\nProfessional certification such as CAPM or PMP recommended / within 2 years of becoming Project Manager II.\nStrong attention to schedule deadlines and budgetary guidelines\nProven success working with all levels of management.\nStrong written and oral/verbal communication skills, including the ability to make formal presentations to management.\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AI applications.\nWilling and able to support domestic travel (including overnight travel) to various vendor / company locations.\nKey Metrics\nSafety Excellence\nTeamwork\nContinuous Improvement\nProblem solving / Decision making\nResults Orientation\nTalent Development\nRisk Mitigation\n** Final pay grade will be based upon applicant's experience and qualifications * *\nJob Family\nPlant OperationsCompany\nVistra Nuclear Operations CompanyLocations\nGlen Rose, TexasTexasWe are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
