The role is expected to leverage relationships with business and technology users to learn the business processes the applications support. They play a pivotal role in delivering data needs, identifying and driving documentation and process improvements, performing support activities for Technology Services, and engaging technology and business users for ideas to improve the user experience.Job Description\nKey Accountabilities\nImplement and maintain cloud native machine learning analytics platforms; Build services to deploy data ingestion pipelines, machine learning models on Kubernetes based platform.\nCreate data policies, standards, guidelines and procedures in order to ensure data to support analytics is available, responsive, and achieving business outcomes and objectives\nCreate and implement data and analytics solutions or enhancements to improve overall Vistradata architecture; conduct research and make recommendations on new data management processes and innovations.\nPartner closely with vendors, service providers, the business and internal team to define and understand analytics needs in order to achieve key performance indicators and Service Level Agreements for the benefit of Vistraand its business objectives.\nDetermine analytics business needs and translate them into functional requirements, update/create documentation\nParticipate in analytics projects and Agile teams; make recommendations and implement changes to mitigate risks and optimize analytics performance.\nEducation, Experience, & Skill Requirements\n10+ years professional experience in a technology or business field\n\nAssociate Level AWS Certification is preferred\n\nWell versed in Devopsor Site reliability engineering (SRE) tenets\n\n2+ years in an SRE/Operations/DevOps role as part of a team\n\n3+ years hands on AWS experience\n\nKubernetes subject matter expert (EKS Preferred)\n\nExperience in writing and maintaining helm charts\n\nExperience in maintaining ML Stack workloads running on Kubernetes including Airflow, Data pipelines, Rest API’s\n\nHands on experience with Prometheus or other K8s monitoring solutions\n\n2+ years of hands on experience with Python\n\nDeliver cloud native devsecopson AWS solutions\n\nProven experience analyzing code for non-standard practices, errors, and security vulnerabilities and presenting detailed remediation plans\n\nExperience managing and delivering enterprise-wide initiatives related to the platforms supported by the team.\n\nAbility to learn quickly, be self motivated to improve knowledge and tackle new challenges\n\nSuperior organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail required\n\nSkilled at creating executive-level communications and presenting to and interacting with leaders\n\nBachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field from an accredited college/university (or equivalent)\n\nKey Metrics\nSystem availability\nData Availability\nData Quality\nJob Family\nInformation TechnologyCompany\nVistra Corporate Services CompanyLocations\nIrving, TexasTexasWe are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
