The role supports instructor qualification and partners with training and site leaders to improve instructional quality, consistency, compliance, technology use, and performance. The team supports approximately 100 instructors fleetwide, with occasional travel-typically two to three times per year.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver and improve initial and continuing instructor training in accordance with SAT and fleet standards.\nCoach instructors through qualification and development across classroom, laboratory, simulator, and digital learning settings.\nPartner with training leaders, program owners, and subject matter experts to resolve gaps and align fleet practices.\nLead assessments, performance trending, corrective actions, and improvements supporting effectiveness, accreditation, and compliance.\nProvide guidance for SAT processes, curricula, examinations, records, learning systems, and training workflows.\nDevelop and review training materials, procedures, evaluations, communications, CBTs, SharePoint resources, and online learning solutions.\nUse training data to improve quality, accessibility, engagement, efficiency, and execution.\nFacilitate fleet meetings, working groups, benchmarking, and industry engagement.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED with at least six years of instructional or applicable department experience.\nDemonstrated leadership, procedure compliance, timely execution, and success in a regulated environment.\nStrong communication, collaboration, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and support multiple sites and stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience delivering instructor training or developing and maintaining training materials.\nKnowledge of SAT and instructional design methods.\nExperience with accredited nuclear training, assessments, corrective action, or program improvement.\nExperience with learning systems, training databases, digital content, CBTs, or distance learning.\nNuclear or other technical training background.\nBachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, Training, Business, a technical discipline, or a related field.\nCore Competencies\nBuilds instructor capability\nShapes instructional practice\nDrives performance improvement\nAligns fleet quality and change\nKey Metrics\nTechnical competence\nTeamwork\nProblem solving/Decision making\nResults Orientation\nJoin our team and help advance fleet instructor excellence through strong SAT practices, effective coaching, technology-enabled learning, and continuous improvement.\n** Candidates with all levels of education and experience are encouraged to apply.
